QuickBooks Desktop Setup for Auto Repair Shops

Step 1

  • Starting from the Getting Started, navigate to Settings and click on the ‘ Integrations.’
  • From there, follow Step 1: Install QuickBooks Desktop (Required)
  • Important: QuickBooks Web Connector will NOT work unless QuickBooks Desktop is installed first.
  • Download and install QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (30-Day Trial) for Windows.

  • Create or sign in with your Intuit account and complete installation.

Step 2

  • Install QuickBooks Web Connector (QBWC)
  • Run the installer and complete setup.
  • Download the QuickBooks Web Connector.

  • Unzip the downloaded QBWebConnector file.

Step 3

Connect AutoSoftWay to QuickBooks Desktop
  1. Click Generate the QuickBooks Web Connector Application File (.qwc) below.
  2. Open QuickBooks Web Connector on your computer.
  3. Click Add an Application and select the downloaded .qwc file.
  4. When prompted, enter the QBWC Password shown below and approve access.
  5. Select the application and click Update Selected to start syncing.

Step 4

Once setup is complete, add the application and start using QuickBooks Desktop to manage your auto repair business.
