Set up PartsTech once for the whole shop: enable the integration by connecting your PartsTech account, then search and order parts from all your suppliers straight from an estimate.

Get your PartsTech login and API key
You need an active PartsTech account — sign up free at partstech.com and add the suppliers you buy from. Have your PartsTech username and password ready, and copy your API key from your PartsTech account settings.

Open Settings
Click Management in the top bar, then Settings.

Choose “Part Vendor Integration”
In the settings menu, click Part Vendor Integration. This one page holds your shop’s Nexpart and PartsTech logins.

Enter your PartsTech details and save
In the PartsTech card, enter your PartsTech Username, API Key and Password, then click Save. Use the eye icon to check what you typed.

Check that PartsTech shows “Connected”
The card now shows Connected. The login is shared by your whole shop, so everyone who orders parts uses the same PartsTech account. View PartsTech orders lists every order placed through PartsTech.

Find parts from an estimate
Open a saved estimate, go to the Parts Tech tab and click Find Parts. PartsTech opens in a new tab with the vehicle already selected — add the parts you need to the cart and submit it to come back to AutoSoftWay. Save a new estimate first, or the button stays hidden.
Tips
- Parts you pick in PartsTech come back into the Parts Tech tab as quotes. Tick the ones the customer approved and click Place Order to order them.
- After ordering, click Check delivery to see when the parts will arrive.
- Only the shop owner or a manager can change the PartsTech login.
